Sociable, flexible and elegant, Move is a wide bench with soft, rounded corners that allows you to sit comfortably when facing any direction. Designed to look lightweight and refined despite being built to endure the rough conditions of a public outdoor space with minimal maintenance, Move consists of a series of oiled pine slats that follow the flow of galvanized steel base like caterpillar tracks. The joins are concealed, so the slats appear to float and flow over the surface of the plate. The name of the piece comes from its fluid interplay of continuous lines – it really does seem to be in motion.
