Anderssen & Voll

Spanning textile design, tableware, lighting, furniture and electronics, Anderssen & Voll’s work embodies the 100% Norway style – inspired by Europe’s varied industrial cultures from the mountains of Norway to the plains of Venice, and fuelled by the possibilities of large-scale industrial thinking.

Having graduated (from Bergen Academy of Art and Design and Oslo National Academy of Art) in 2000, Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll co-founded Norway Says, a design group that brought an increased international awareness to Norwegian designers, while helping to bring Norway’s emerging design scene to the forefront of the world stage. Norway Says was awarded the Söderberg Prize in 2007, and its work culminated in 2009’s 10-year retrospective at the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design in Oslo.

Anderssen & Voll was set up in 2009 and has since collaborated with some of Scandinavia’s most celebrated brands, including Muuto, Kvadrat, Erik Jørgensen, Wrong for Hay, Jøtul, Røros Tweed and LK Hjelle, as well as prominent Italian companies such as Magis, Foscarini and LaPalma.

Senso sofa system meets the acoustic challenges one encounters in modern office spaces. The system differentiates it self by being space efficient and allows for a large number of different solutions and creative configurations. The height of the seat is in line with universal requirements and the gap between the sofa and floor allows for easy cleaning.
