Born in Bergen, raised in Asker, Christopher is currently studying at the second year in MA design at Oslo National Academy of the Arts. With background as a boat builder and craftsman he is working practical with product development, often with focus on how contrasts in materials and tactility can improve usability in everyday designs.
The wristwatch design is minimalistic both in tradition and ergonomically. The aim was to design a watch that can be used by almost everybody, and at the same time still retaining classical watch traditions.
Sneak a feel at the time… We’ve all been in situations where we’d like to check the time, but avoid doing so because others might consider it rude. With the ultra-minimalist touch watch it’s possible to read the time both visually and tactilely so you can check it any time without being obvious! Simply press a button to trigger the hands to move to the correct time and feel for the small and large hands.
