Daniel has a varied background with a bachelor degree from Italy and Japan. After ended master degree at the Bergen Academy of Art and Design, he now works as an interior architect at IARK.
"Among Islands and Skerries" deals with using design as a tool to facilitate experiences in nature on the island "Geiteskjær" in the Oslofjord. The projects examines the existing installations on the island, and explores its unknown potential. The aim is to develop the swimming area, and the island as a recreational area. Choices and solutions have been shaped with respect and humility to the landscape, history has been considered as well as established concepts have been challenged. "Geiteskjær" has a wide range of possibilities regarding its use, and this is underlined by facilitating for a rich variety in the composition of the installations around the island.
