Born, trained and raised in Oslo, Ane Domaas and Kathrine Høgh met while studying Product Design at Oslo and Akershus University College and have collaborated since 2011. Their products typically introduce elements of the unconventional into the everyday, while underlining the inherent modesty of the Norwegian personality. Their work has been shown at several design fairs in Europe and Scandinavia. 100% Norway marks their second exhibition in London.
This set of two mirrors is a pared-down reinterpretation of the woman’s dressing table as it existed in the 50s and 60s. One is wall-mounted, with a small birch-wood shelf area and pegs for hanging jewellery; the other stands on a table, and includes a storage area for trinkets. The mirrors can be used in bathrooms, hallways or bedrooms.
