UNE NORDLI AND SIGRID THORESEN SANDNES
Une Nordli and Sigrid Thoresen Sandnes recently graduated from the master programme in Industrial
Design at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim.
Through their education, Une and Sigrid have gained broad experience in Industrial Design by doing projects within product, interaction and service design. Their master thesis is done from a service design perspective and the designers believe that a great customer experience is achieved if both the company and their customers are included in the design process.
TURGLEDE PÅ BOKS
The project is done in collaboration with The Norwegian Trekking Association (DNT), the biggest outdoor activity organisation in Norway. DNT offers an extensive network of marked hiking trails and cabins across the country and the service offering is mainly maintained through voluntary work.
The aim of the concept is to shed new light on the voluntary work by encouraging people to contribute with small tasks while visiting one of DNT’s cabins. The concept includes a toolbox that facilitates contributions, objects shaped as mountains that highlight tasks that needs to be done and pins as a reward for the contributions.
